At La Vie, our food philosophy is fresh is best. We strive to bring you the freshest product available. "Market to Table" is our theme, and we achieve this by using produce and products available within the season of their fruition.

 

Our menus are developed on a daily basis according to availability. We source local, natural and organic growers and producers in the creation of our dishes, so that the outcome is delicious, healthful and environmentally sustainable.

 

Our Chefs

 

La Vie opened in July of 2007 under the direction of Proprietor and Chef Christine Deyoung. With over 12 years of fine dining experience, including both The Law Society of Upper Canada and The Four Seasons Hotel Group, La Vie was conceived by Christine with the notion of simple and fresh ingredients prepared well.

 

Now in our first year, we have the privilege of offering the talent of two chefs in the collaboration of your dining pleasure.  We welcome Jeremy Buckingham, of The Vancouver Club and Magna Golf Club, to La Vie.
